Collaborative Development of Pilot Projects with AI Swiss
swissAI expressly supports the proposals for a forward-looking education policy outlined by AI Swiss in its white paper. The association is working in collaboration with AI Swiss to adapt these concepts to the context of German-speaking Switzerland. A German version of the study already exists, and pilot projects are being co-developed. “We must not wait until these developments leave us behind,” explains Chris Beyeler, president of swissAI. “Now is the time to work together to lay the groundwork for responsible, equitable, and innovative AI education.”
Call for Collaboration: The Time to Act Is Now
swissAI calls on educational institutions, government agencies, research organizations, and civil society to work together to develop a forward-looking AI education system. This requires courage, commitment, and a holistic view of the opportunities and challenges posed by AI in education.
French-speaking Switzerland and German-speaking Switzerland are pulling in the same direction
swissAI is the voice for a responsible AI future in German-speaking Switzerland. The association maintains close ties with its sister organization, AI Swiss, in French-speaking Switzerland. Both organizations share a common goal: to empower Swiss citizens at all levels to use AI responsibly, intelligently, and equitably. A key element of this is the development of ethically grounded AI education throughout Switzerland. The existing collaboration between the two associations will be specifically intensified to create synergies across language and cantonal boundaries.
