swissAI is neither a commercial provider nor a lobbying group, but rather a neutral platform for AI expertise, visibility, and active participation in Switzerland. As a small, neutral country, Switzerland can build its own independent AI expertise. Neutrality is a competitive advantage in this regard.
Since the negative aspects of AI tend to emerge on their own, we are committed to promoting the positive ones.

Switzerland is adopting AI faster than it is building up expertise in the field.
Switzerland is among the countries with the highest levels of AI adoption in Europe. Expertise is growing more slowly than adoption, and that is where the risk lies. Added to this is demographic change: Over the next ten years, Switzerland could face a shortage of several hundred thousand workers. AI can help bridge this gap, but only if people know how to use it effectively. That is exactly what we are working on.
